The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity levels will

result in dangerous heat conditions Monday with heat indices

into the mid 90’s to around 100 degrees. A heat advisory will

likely be needed. Also, there is a marginal chance for severe

thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening with damaging

winds the main threat. In addition, storms will be capable of

producing very heavy downpours which could lead to some

flooding of poor drainage and low lying areas and possibly

isolated flash flooding.

Today: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Southwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 10pm and 3am. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Cloudy, with a low around 65. Southwest wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 74. Northwest wind 14 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 56. North wind 5 to 9 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 8 mph in the morning.
