This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Taconics, the Berkshires,

northwestern Connecticut and southern Vermont.

Tuesday through Sunday: Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday. Storms will be capable of producing very heavy downpours, which could lead to some flooding in urban areas especially low lying and poor-drainage locations. Isolated flash flooding cannot be ruled out. There is a slight threat of severe thunderstorms, with the primary threat being damaging wind gusts.

A COLD FRONT MOVING ACROSS THE APPALACHIANS WILL MOVE OFF THE NEW ENGLAND COAST BY WEDNESDAY A.M.  AHEAD OF IT..MUGGY WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TODAY..SOME HEAVY….IN THE 80S. BEHIND IT…ANOTHER DOME OF CANADIAN AIR PUSHES IN LATE TONIGHT..IN 60S. THIS HI PRESSURE DOME GIVES US AT LEAST 3 DAYS OF IDEAL SUMMER WEATHER WITH SUN..LOW HUMIDITY AND HIGHS IN LOW TO MID 80S. IT BEGINS TO GET MORE HUMID SATURDAY..BUT STILL FAIR. BY LATE WEEKEND..IT MAY RAIN. FOR NOW..STICKY – WET THEN GREAT.
