This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,  western Massachusetts, east central and eastern New York, and  southern Vermont.    .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.    Isolated thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall will be possible  through this evening, which may cause ponding of water on roadways  and poor drainage flooding in low lying and urban areas for a few  spots. Isolated flash flooding is possible, especially in any areas  where multiple rounds of thunderstorms occur.    .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.    Isolated thunderstorms will remain possible Tuesday, especially  across the western Mohawk Valley and southwest Adirondacks.  Thunderstorms may contain locally heavy rainfall, with a very humid  air mass remaining in place.    There is a better chance of thunderstorms Wednesday through  Wednesday night as a cold front slowly moves through the region. Some  of the thunderstorms will contain very heavy rainfall which may  cause small stream, urban and poor drainage flooding. Flash flooding  will be possible.    There is also a chance of thunderstorms on Friday.    Today: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 78.     Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 7pm,   then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 7pm and midnight,   then scattered showers after midnight. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.   Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southeast wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.   New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.     Tuesday: Scattered showers, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 84. South wind 9 to 13 mph.   Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.     Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69.   South wind 7 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.     Wednesday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain.   Cloudy, with a high near 78. South wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall   amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
