DAY ONE…Today and tonight.
Bitterly cold temperatures are expected tonight with light winds.
Wind chills are expected to be near 20 below zero in the southern
Adirondacks. If the winds are expected to be stronger causing colder
wind chills, then wind chill advisories may be needed.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Wednesday through Monday.
Bitterly cold temperatures are expected Wednesday night into Thursday
morning with light winds. Wind chills near 20 below zero are
possible over the higher elevations where wind chill advisories may
be needed.
Also, we are monitoring a potential coastal storm Friday night into
Saturday. There is potential for significant snowfall and windy
conditions for eastern New York and western New England depending on
the storm track. However, it is also possible that the main impacts
remain east of our area.
