Erik moves south of Hawaii Friday with fringe effects....while Flossie could be more of a direct hit as a tropical storm come Monday - below.

Meanwhile - in Atlantic...a tropical wave will bring lots of rain to Florida and SOutheast......while another wave in central Atlantic could become a tropical storm over next 5 days and would be given the name Chantal. 

Below- satellite and radar show a front just off the East Coast...breaking the heat and humidity there...but more heavy rain and storms Plains across Rockies...and again even in Vegas.
