This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,western Massachusetts, much of east central New York and southern Vermont. 

Monday through Saturday. There is a chance of thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening,Tuesday afternoon and also on Wednesday. Any thunderstorm will be capable of gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall which may lead to water ponding on roadways and poor drainage flooding in low lying areas. 

Monday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 88. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.  

Monday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.  

Tuesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
